Computer Basics Saturday, March 2nd, 2024 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM This class will cover basic definitions of computer parts and functions, operating systems and applications. We’ll demonstrate how to properly turn a computer on and off also different things you can do with your computer. i.e., accessing the internet, connecting with friends and family far away. How to Create an E-mail Every Tuesday in Spring, 2024 10:30 AM - 5:30 PM We’ll be teaching adults and seniors how to create an email and all of the things you can do with it. You’ll be able to use it to find jobs, sign up for social media accounts, get discounts at your favorite stores and more! Typing Masterclass Thursday, March 7th and Thursday, March 21st, 2024 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM In this two part class we will focus on improving typing skills with interactive lessons. Creating a Instagram/Facebook Every Thursday in March, 2024 12:00 PM - 1:30 PM Helping seniors and adults create a Instagram or Facebook profile. Windows 10 Saturday, March 16th, 2024 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM In this class you'll learn about navigating a windows computer, working with windows, opening files and applications and moving files and folders. You'll also learn the different types of icons, other programs within windows itself and how to operate them as well. E-Book Club Every Monday in April, 2024 (Starting April 1st) 4:00 PM - 5:30 PM In this class we will be learning how to use our Hoopla, Kanopy, and Libby apps. We will be picking a book, reading it and discussing it. Gmail Basics Saturday, April 13th, 2024 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM In the class you'll create a Gmail account, along with learning how to use Gmail and some of it’s hidden features. We’ll go over Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Slides, Google Finance and much more. We’ll also discuss the importance of signing in and out of your account and removing your account once you're done, uploading/downloading attachments for sending and receiving important documents.
