Adult Game Day Every Saturday in Spring, 2024 (Starting March 2nd) 3:30 PM – 5:00 PM A few game days for adults. We’ll have boardgames, card games and an Xbox gaming system. Black History 101 Mobile Museum Tuesday, March 5th, 2024 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM (speaker at 12:00 PM) Features over 125 original documents and photographs signed by African American historical figures representing the fields of education, politics, science, arts, sports, music, film, religion, and civil rights. Special Guest Speaker: Khalid el-Hakim Spades Club Every Wednesday in March, 2024 (starts March 6th) 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM We will be teaching people how to play spades. We’ll soon start a tournament playing any card games they prefer; dominos, board games etc. Pinterest Inspired Craft Thursday, March 7th and 14th, 2024 4:00 PM - 5:00 PM Bring your creativity and get inspired. All supplies will be provided by the ECPL. House Plant Workshop Wednesdays, April 10th, 17th and 24th, 2024 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM Join us as we share our love and knowledge for houseplants. We will conduct a series of sessions on maintain healthy houseplants, how to propagate, dealing with pest and much more. We will also have a plant swap. Styrofoam Head Planter Wednesday, May 1st, 2024 4:00 PM Do you want to do something different? Learn how to make a one of a kind planter using a styrofoam head. This program is full of creativity and fun. Fascinators Crafting Class Monday, May 6th, 2024 4:00 PM Make your very own fascinator out of place mats. Fascinators are small decorative headpieces often worn to special events. We encourage you to wear your fascinator at our tea party! Memorial Saturday, May 11th, 2024 3:00 PM Memorial is bone-chilling tales of history retold by homeless travelers that are waking ghost from the Vietnam war, Hough riots in 1966, the Kent State University shootings, and more.
